Our Story

One Church exists to help lead the ONE into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. We are a culturally relevant, intentionally diverse and audaciously missional church where anyone can find a place to belong and thrive. Everything we do is for “the ONE.”

One Church began as a dream in the hearts of Pastor Jason and Jen Sharp and in October 2014, One Church began having services at the Moolah Theatre in Midtown.
Through God’s provision and leading, One Church and another local fellowship (Synergy Church) came together in June of 2016. A year later, One Church followed God’s strategic positioning and answer to prayer and moved into the Brentwood neighborhood.

We are a team of people who are passionate to create a place unchurched people will love that connects people to God, builds community with one another and makes a real difference in our community, city and world.

Our Story Our Story

Connection

We can’t make anyone connect with God. All we can do is arrange the date and that is precisely what we intend to do. Our engaging weekend services will help you develop a dynamic relationship with God regardless of where you are in your journey.

Community

Growing spiritually doesn't happen when we know what Jesus says. It happens when we apply what he says, and application happens best within the context of community. To grow spiritually, you have to be connected relationally. Connect Groups are our way of creating environments to wrestle with the tension of where faith meets the real world. It’s designed to help you grow, but you’ll also experience a great deal of care and encouragement along the way.

Impact

Our belief is that as people choose to serve, whether in our church, in the local community, or around the world, the impact of that service will change lives—for those serving, for the people they serve, and even for those who see them giving their time to help someone else. As a church, we want to be known for our extraordinary generosity toward those in our local community, to make a difference and to be an irreplaceable part of making our city better.
